Kate conducts her research by recalling her many calamitous relationships beginning with her first kiss in the school playground. Kate's relationship history continues over the years, and brings back memories of her adventures with married men, mother's boys, B movie actors and a multitude of unsuitable bachelors! The one man who seems to have the most impact on her life is Adam, an artist who does not look - or behave - like a typical Prince Charming.
