The Passion Of The Christ (2004)
Mel Gibson's controversial depiction of the final hours and subsequent crucifixion of Jesus. Filmed using original elements of Aramaic, Latin and Hebrew languages, 'The Passion Of The Christ' is by turns spiritually uplifting, historically contentious and narratively horrifying but remains essential viewing.
An emotional epic which deeply moved audiences worldwide regardless of their faith or beliefs, the most talked about film of the year 'The Passion Of The Christ' is a dramatic film which everyone should see and experience for themselves.

Intensely moving
This is about as close as you will get to the passion of the Christ, without actually being there. Intensely and painfully moving, and a film made with meticulous attention to detail. It doesn't make easy watching though!
