Star Trek Discovery is supposed to be chronologically before even the original Star Trek series, and yet they had technology that even the more recent Star Trek series didn't have, or were only just starting to use. I'm not sure why but none of the characters appealed to me.

I normally like space films, but this was totally unbelievable. If it was set in the far future, I might have been able to accept what was happening but Sandra Bullock's character should have died so many times and didn't.

The film is technically very good, but completely unbelievable.

I agree with a comment above that says "We did watch it to the end, but by the time we got to the end we wished we'd done something else with our time. Totally boring."
