The Haunting in Connecticut

Scary

(Edit) 21/01/2010

I entered the room when this was on, not knowing someone had decided to watch it... I almost literally peed myself. Throughout the movie, I was regularly hiding behind cushions and to be honest, while I am no hard nut, I have not been so spooked by a film in years. Definately worth watching... Not scary in the sick, psychotic way, just a good story with lots and lots of jumping going on!

Bruno

Good... Though a little too crude at times.

(Edit) 21/01/2010

Bruno is funny. I wasn't sure what to expect following Borat (which I was a fan of) and had prepared myself for this to be nowhere near as funny. As it goes, it was just as hilarious, if not slightly more. Though parts were even too crude for me... Sacha Baron Cohen has hit the comedy jackpot once again though.

Ghosts of Girlfriends Past

Pretty Good Watch!

(Edit) 08/12/2009

Ghosts of girlfriends past is a very easy watch, not so much a romantic comedy, just a straight forward chick flick. It's got a cute (but predictable) story to it - sure you can guess just from the name - but played very well by all the cast.

Particularly liked Michael Douglas in this, certainly raised a few smiles & the lovely Matthew McConaughey is worth watching any day, any time!

The Last House on the Left

Far better than I expected!

(Edit) 08/12/2009

The name of the film and the cover didn't exactly appeal to me, but I read somewhere that this had a pretty good storyline to it - something I feel most horrors lack in, so rented it.

It turned out to be the best horror/thriller that I've seen in a long time. A good plot which the actors play well, you're on edge the whole way through and it is also fairly jumpy.

Not really for the faint-hearted as some parts are quite gory and very unpleasant.
