Amazing Grace is the incredible true story of William Wilberforce, who tirelessly led the campaign to abolish slavery in Britain. At a time when the slave trade was not only perceived as acceptable but as a necessity for the economy, Wilberforce and his fellow abolitionists dared to speak out against a massive injustice, fighting long and hard for the freedom of others.

A great historical drama telling the story of William Wilberforce, who led the movement to abolish slavery in Britain. The cast is fantastic and the film is interesting and moving. After watching it I got straight onto the internet to find out more about these people, so I would call it inspirational!

Human nature loves a story of triumphing against unsurmountable odds, but not many at all are actually true stories that will inspire others. William Wilberforce, was a passionate man who lived in Britain and fought for many abused, neglected people all his life. This film concentrates on his struggle to fight a campaign to abolish slavery in throughout the Old Empire.
We have a glimpse of this mans private life and the real difficulties and personal doubts he had in order to let people have a change to see the love of God which he believed was to be freely shown to all men.
Truly amazing grace. Suitable for all the family although may be a little long for younger members.
