Fritz brown can't keep off the booze. It's cost him his job with the LAPD and left him struggling as a PI with a case load that ain't worth zip. Until, that is, Freddie 'fat Dog' Baker walks into his office and makes Brown an offer he can't refuse - a wad of cash if the washed-up cop can rescue his sexy 17 year old sister from the clutches of ageing mobster Solly K. As the investigation unfolds, Fritz is propelled on the collision course with both sides of the law. The twisted trail to Fat Dog's sister leads him to an old enemy, the head of LAPD internal affairs, and a possible connection with the mob.
