Come Rain Come Shine is an emotional, contemporary drama, centring on working-class ex-docker Don (Sir David Jason). Family means everything to Don and he is fiercely proud of his wealthy son David, a property developer, whose flashy lifestyle is in sharp contrast to his parent's simple and unpretentious life. When the economic crunch hits, the truth about David's affluent life surfaces and facing financial ruin he moves back home.
