Richard leaves his office planning a relaxing Christmas vacation at his fiancee's country home.
But Richard isn't having the best of luck, his car breaks down and he loses his wallet leaving him stranded with no cash, no transportation and nowhere to spend the night. So Richard can't believe his luck when friendly local Fred turns up offering a meal and a bed for the night! However there proves to be a little more to Fred than meets the eye... Fred, sister Cecilia and family believe that they are victim to a terrible curse, a curse that prevents any guest from leaving if they are there after midnight.
What began as a simple invitation to dinner spirals into a journey of self discovery for Richard as he realises that his unrecognised dream may be the only thing that can save him from a lifetime of 'dinner at Fred's'.
