Rent Eternal Law (2011)

The complete first series of the ITV drama about two angels who have been sent to Earth to gain an understanding of human beings and encourage them to help one another. Working as lawyers, angels Zak (Samuel West) and Tom (Ukweli Roach) attempt to make the world a friendlier place. It is Tom's first time on the planet and his enthusiasm for the human spirit along with his naive nature lead him to encounter difficulties during his visit. Zak, however, has had 200 years' experience of life on Earth and, as a result, has grown cynical. To make matters worse, on his last visit Zak fell for Hannah (Hattie Morahan), a human who is now working with his rival, dark angel Richard Pembroke (Tobias Menzies). If he falls for her again, Zak will become mortal and be cut off from his fellow angels.
