Rent First Night (2011)


Richard E. Grant stars as Adam, a wealthy industrialist whose cultural aspirations include a long-held dream of playing Don Alfonso in Mozart's comic opera 'Cosi Fan Tutte'. In a bid to silence his critics and make his dream a reality, Adam invites a cast of talented amateurs to his stately home to stage a production of the opera under the direction of the long-suffering Celia (Sarah Brightman). But can his money buy him the admiration he craves - let alone the hand of the beautiful conductor Nicoletta (Mia Maestro) on whom he has set his heart?
