On balance, I'd rather have the hour and half back.

It looks good, the acting is good, the camera work great.............but the plot is tired and worn out. Using the horseman of the apocalypse as a theme doesn't really work and while Dennis Quaid is very credible, there's not enough to separate this from so many other Hollywood murder/thrillers. It really isn't worth it, even in blu ray.

Perverse it certainly is. A great serial killer movie with good performances from the actors especially Ziyi Zhang as a real temptress. Some of the murders made me choke on my dinner and i wondered how the detective could sleep at night. Again a good twist at the end surprised me. A really good watch.

High production values, an interesting opening period and the casting of Dennis Quaid should ensure Horsemen is worthwhile. It falls into the predictable trappings we've endured of other MTV-friendly thrillers and horrors. A clean cut cast and its use of technology are staple inclusions seen countless times previously. Dennis seems out of place when pitted against the cast who seem are extracted out of an issue of Vogue. Sadly produced by Michael Bay and it shows.
