In the frontier town of Pecos, New Mexico, Jules 'Jewel' D'Estaing is a hired gun who has just taken a new assignment from the town's powerful boss: kill returning Civil War veteran Matt Weaver. But Jewel struggles with his deadly mission when he realises that the proud, defiant Weaver may be the only truly honourable man in a town steeped in corruption and prejudice. As the clock ticks down to the inevitable confrontation, Jewel must do battle with his most powerful adversary - his own conscience.
