This is a fantastic film for anyone who enjoys comic book superheroes. It is better than bat-man because it isn't clogged with sentimental romantic padding (well a little bit only) it is much more kerrrpoowww and spplaattt with a bit of star wars techno-wonder thrown in for good measure. Not to be watched with your film buff hat on but with your pants over your Lycra.

I too was misled by the number of stars this film was given. I can't imagine it appealing to anyone other than teenage boys,

whoever gave this film that many stars must have watched a different film than i did.special effects are good but as usual " all effects no storyline".

Big budget & a weak story.

On paper this should have been one of the best superhero films to date with a big budget and a great cast. The trouble is the story is just rubbish, and for me setting a superhero movie in Afghanistan, where there's still an active conflict being fought, was really poor taste and just plain tacky. That aside the film as a whole is really poor, with a weak storyline and decidely average special effects. This is a film which should have been more but in reality is nothing but a big budget kids movie.
