Tipical USA film just makes them look silly and out of touch with the rest of the world.
it is a just look how good we are sort of film but comes across as unprofessional soilders!

Modern day Full Metal Jacket

Change the setting from Vietnam to Iraq and we have Full Metal Jacket in the desert. It's an enjoyable film with some very funny moments, and not all the humour is dark. Gyllanhall gives a fine performance as the rookie in the Marine's elite sniper corps, ably supported by Foxx as his sargeant. Definitely worth a watch.
