Meet Jill, the unhinged owner of a small town beauty salon, and enter her dysfunctional world. Pretending that her hospitalised husband is dying, Jill is on a mission to find a man. She joins the "Lassoo the Moon" Dating Agency, but when her dates don't come up to scratch, she sets her sights on her neighbour Don, a doctor, and develops a very unhealthy obsession about him. Moving in to 'nurse' his terminally ill wife, she is determined to seduce him and bring their marriage to a grinding halt... by any means necessary. So will she get her man in the end? Created by and starring Julia Davis (Jam), this is, yet another, excellent comedy series from BBC3 - produced by Steve Coogan's company, Baby Cow.

Laugh and hate yourself for doing so!

This is dark, black as pitch. Our anti-heroine, Jill, has no qualms about the way she treats others regardless of another misfortune. She is quite simply a shameless woman and yet this is no grim tragedy. Rather you will find yourself streaming with tears of laughter as Jill dispatches another poor victim with her killer put-downs. Not for all tastes, but get into the rhythm of this and you will love every minute.

Very funny

A seriously funny dark comedy which mixes laugh out loud comedy with toe curling embarrassing moments which make ‘The Office’ seem tame.
