An Estate Agent's Clerk (Gustav Von Wangenheim) in the city of Bremen leaves his bride (Greta Schroeder) to conduct business in the distant Carpathian mountains with an eccentric client named Graf Orlok (Max Schrek). During a long and hazardous journey, the closer he gets to his destination, the more terrified are the people he meets. What he finds when he reached Orlok's sinister castle is enough to make the flesh of the most devoted horror fan creep.

completly terrifying!

I was amazed and dazilled by the spectacular camera work of this film, i didn't expect a film to have been made so soon after the invention of cinema to be so amazingly sophisticated that it rivals todays achievements. Marnau certainly knew a creepy shot and how to go about creating it, no other film of any sort has ever frightened me this much.
Wonderful, a universal must see!
