Oceans Eleven is a film of two halves, with the first section detailing the planning but never overplaying the preparation. The heist itself is enjoyable and refreshing for its lack of stunts and action. It could be criticised for being too stylised and methodical, with a foreseeable chain of events that lead up to predictable closing segment. Oceans is perhaps too safe for some and shunned the possibilities for greatness. A solid if uneventful transfer this blu ray has some extras, but only the two commentary tracks are worth your time. Both of these are hugely enjoyable.
