You're the assistant manager of a supermarket. You have a lovely wife and kids. And you've just had an interview with god, who's recruited you to carry his message to all humankind.
Oh, God! is the very nimble, very funny teaming of three comedy masters: screenwriter Larry Gelbart, director Carl Reiner and Academy Award winner George Burns in the tailor-made title role. Music star John Denver brings a winning naturalness to his film debut as god's recruit. His wife and kids think he's crazy. Others brand him a fanatic and a nuisance.
