CeBe (Linda Manz) is a rebellious, small-town teenager experiencing the onset of adolescence whilst her father (Dennis Hopper) serves out a lengthy prison sentence. Her mother (Sharon Farrell) insecure and weak-willed, waitress in a diner and is having an affair with her boss. When CeBe discovers that mom is a junkie too, angry and disillusioned, she runs away: only agreeing to return once she learns of her father's imminent parole and some hope of a normal family life. Dad's homecoming however triggers a shocking awakening for CeBe, propelling her into an ugly and incomprehensible adult world with ultimately shattering consequences.
