Was it worth it ?

This film starts off fairly promisingly as you cannot tell what is real and what isn't but then doesn't explain why anything happened, goes off and you will be left thinking WHAT ???? Nah don't bother its a waste of time trying to understand why they made this film at all

Half baked and full of plot holes.

The idea behind ‘Premonition’ draws heavily from films like ‘Donnie Darko’, ‘The Forgotten’, ‘Memento’ and ‘The Butterfly Effect’; and while to some extent it successfully takes elements of those films and repackages them in a new way, the flimsy storyline comes off as half baked and full of silly plot holes. While I am a fan of fragmented storytelling this isn’t one of those films, like those listed above, that manages to pull it off. The jumbled sequence of days the story is played out across seemed to be made purposefully confusing by the director just for the sake of keeping the viewer confused, and without trying to spoil the plot too much, if you manage to get your head around the sequence of events and understand what is actually happening in turns of what are premonitions and what are not, then the whole story kind of falls apart. Overall, this is one of those films which will divide opinion; you’ll either love it or hate it.
