Rent Semi-Pro (2008)

Will Ferrell, Woody Harrelson and André Benjamin star in this hilarious three-pointer of sports action, outrageous laughs and ’70s groove! It’s 1976 and the only thing sexier than Jackie Moon (Ferrell) is his incredible career. The owner, head coach and star player of the Flint Tropics – not to mention the smooth vocals behind hit single "Love Me Sexy" – is at the top of his game. I like Will Ferrell films, but this is not one of Ferrell's better efforts, with very few laughs and a cliched underdog storyline. If you've not seen them rent 'Step Brothers', 'Blades Of Glory' or 'Talladega Nights' instead, all of which are far funnier.
