Stay review by Rubber Ducky

Visually intriguing

A complicated plot which had us gripped from the beginning. Ewan McGregor is a psychiatrist who inherits a mysterious and disturbed patient played in an understated yet memorable way by Ryan Gosling. Touches of Donnie Darko and Sixth sense give you a small taster of what to expect. However, it is really not like either of these two films and we enjoyed the fantastic camera work which was very clever and unusual. Some people may find the film confusing; it is not an obvious plot and definitely needs some thought from the viewer.

McGregor's Wrong Trousers
(1) of (2) members found this review helpful.
The film was so interesting I became obsessed with McGregor's trousers half way through when they turned yellow and a little freaky. I love psychological thrillers when they follow psychology - BUT this wow - if you can wait to the anti-climatic end (and the rest of my family couldn't deciding to go to their rooms or bed) You really will be impressed by it's anti-climatic nature. Painful film - very hard slog for those who love the genre.
