Hard-up, wacky brother Mario (Bob Hoskins) and Luigi (John Leguizamo) run a plumbing company in Brooklyn. When they befriend Daisy (Samantha Mathis), a young archaeologist, they are pulled into a bizarre, fantastical adventure as the villainous King koopa's (Dennis Hopper) cousins kidnap her and whisk her off to the sinister underworld of 'Dinohatten'. In hot pursuit, with their and wonderful allies, Bertha, Toad and dinosaur Yoshi, the brothers must battle Koopa and his army of Goombas, intent on merging our dimension with theirs.
