Ten Thousand Days charts the story of a peasant family over three decades. Kosa has stated he was "not interested in assigning blame," but rather in tracing the process by which neighbor could turn against neighbor, son against father. This richly detailed historical fresco also features magnificent cinematography (in black-and-white Scope) by Sandor Sara, himself an important director.
