Philip Calvert, is a secret service agent assigned to stop the ruthless pirating of millions of pounds of gold bullion in the Irish Sea. His search takes him to a small port in the Hebrides where numerous fishing boats, yachts and people have mysteriously been disappearing. A trail of deceit and subterfuge leads him to fabulously wealthy residents Sir Anthony Skouras and his beautiful wife who may hold the answers to the truth.
