Six friends, three kinds of love. Katie was a sharp little chick in hotpants in the 70's, today she still got the voice and her fabulous looks, she oozes sensuality and has an air of sophistication - but it's a fragile facade, she knows it is not going to last. She need to reinvent herself. It's time to go home to New Zealand, revisit her roots. Stephen, her oldest friend, gives her refuge in his house and in his heart. Stephen wants Mark who writes great songs through a haze of alcohol, dope and confusion. The singers of Mark's songs are Fig and Sally- they want knife edge life and each other. Eddie wants Katie. Katie doesn't know what she wants, as long as it's not what she's got. These six journey through the ins and outs and ups and downs of love and destiny.
