Nicolas Cage and Michael Peña star as John McLoughlin and Will Jimeno, two New York City Port Authority policemen who were trapped in the rubble of September 11, 2001. As McLoughlin and Jimeno bond together in a fight for survival, the events of an unimaginable day unfold through the eyes of the two policemen, their loving wives (Maria Bello and Maggie Gyllenhaal), survivors and rescuers throughout the city.

Boring film, I suppose there was never going to be much going on so it was my own fault for hiring it. Never mind I though N Cage was good and it passed the time

In the capable hands of Oliver Stone, the story of 9/11 is told with compassion and interest without the corniness that lesser directors might have slipped into. Most of the action happens at the beginning and the effect of being in the area when the towers came down is truly terrifying. The rest of the story is about 2 police officers, who are trapped in the rubble, and their families. Couldn't have watched it before because events were too raw, but it is definitely worth a look.

This film was not the typical action fest that I thought it would be, it had a more tender side to it! I learnt some things that I didn't already know about what happened and that was interesting, but I can't easily say whether I really liked it or not! Doesn't really help does it!
i am glad I watched though!
