Explosive and confrontational, Year of the Dragon is full of mayhem, murder and hidden vengeance. A crime epic set in New York's Chinatown, the film is based on Robert Daley's novel and follows a script by acclaimed directors Michael Cimino and Oliver Stone.
When a prominent businessman and mob leader is assassinated by a member of a Chinese youth gang. Vietnam veteran and decorated cop Stanley White is assigned to Chinatown and ordered to clean up the gang problem. White soon realises that the teenage hoodlum are under the control of an ambitious young crime boss, Joey Tai. Enlisting the help of pretty young Chinese-American television reporter Tracy Tzu. White becomes obsessed with destroying Tai. Prone to breaking the rules, White goes after his target, vowing to spare nothing and nobody, including himself.....
