A Clash of Eagles (2005)

A collection of documentaries that looks at aerial combat during WWII. Domination of the air during the war was a critical element in the ultimate Allied victory, from the fighters of the RAF defending England in the battle of Britain, to the German Luftwaffe fighters vainly defending the Reich against the swarms of escorting Allied planes. These programmes present the stories of the men, machines and tactics that faced off every day in a deadly aerial struggle.
