Maisie and Daisy McCormack are two ordinary 12-year-old girls...Well, ordinary-ish. They're as ordinary as you can be when you've just chased off the narrator of a children's film (Colin Baker) and taken over the story. As ordinary as you can be when you have an aspiring model (Sarah Warren) for a mother and an overprotective writer (Kenton Hall) for a father, both of whom seem determined to prove how weird grown-ups can really be. As ordinary as you can be when you decide to take your borrowed audience on a whirlwind trip through what it's really like to be 12 in the 21st century, with a little help from princes and princesses, cops and robbers, first loves, knights, bullies, teachers, werewolves, vampires and Gary (Ewen MacIntosh) from the comer shop.
