Ten days before 9/11, Elliot, an American CIA Operative suddenly disappears from his post in Europe under mysterious circumstances, having discovered crucial information on the world's security, leaving his friend, French intelligent agent Irene, unable to contact him. One day, out of the blue, Irene gets a call from Elliot asking her to track down his daughter, who he hasn't seen since abandoning her 10 years before.
