This is a wonderful series about angling, however the photography and scenery make this a must even if your not into fishing. The different episodes show a variety of locations as well as styles of angling and species of fish as the quarry. The two anglers are clearly very skilled anglers as well as passionate about their sport, nature and wildlife. The photography and filming in these wonderful locations is far beyond anything you would expect for a fishing documentary, the atmosphere is incredible. For carp fishing fans the episode about Redmire is great, especially as Chris Yates was once the UK Carp record holder, caught on antique rod and reel, both featured in the episode. Well worth watching if your an Angler or just enjoy great scenery. They cover Fly fishing, Carp, Pike and Perch, as well as other species. The Narration by Bernard Cribbins just adds to the overall enjoyment of what is a great adventure that the two friends take the viewer along on in each episode. Even if you saw this on TV, the DVD's are worth getting as there is an extra 15 minutes in each episode.
