Rent A Woman of Substance: Series (1988)

The story starts as an 80-year-old Emma Harte (Deborah Kerr), looks back over her life. She remembers herself as a young girl, pregnant and abandoned by her rich lover. She remembers the men she has loved, her staunch friend Blackie O'Neill, and her second marriage to Paul McGill during the First World War.
