Synopsis:
A helicopter journey over the 'relatively secret splendours' of two stunning walks, with tales of William the Lion of Scotland, Richard the Lionheart, Eric Bloodaxe and others as we sweep over dramatic castles and ancient fortifications.

The Northumberland Coast
Walk stretches from Berwick-upon-Tweed to Newcastle-upon-Tyne. The film also features Lindisfarne, Bamburgh Castle, Fame blanch, Dunstanburgh Castle, Warkworth, Druridge Bay, Whitley Bay and Tynemouth.

The Cleveland Way
Walk begins in Helmsley and runs through the magnificent North York Moors, meeting the coast at Saltburn-by-the-Sea then extending south.

The film also features Rievaulx Abbey, Sutton Hank, Mount Grace Priory, Roseberry Topping, Whitby, Robin Hood's Bay and Scarborough.
