- Synopsis:
- Jack Lemmon, Lee Grant, Olivia De Hauilland, George Kennedy and James Stewart star in this deep-sea disaster movie about a 747 trapped under water in the Bermuda Triangle. Full of VIP's and art treasures owned by a millionaire (Stewart), it goes down during a hijack attempt, and courageous Captain Gallagher (Lemmon) must keep the passengers alive until they are rescued. With George Kennedy recreating his role of Joe Patroni from the original 'Airport' and 'Airport 1975', this third instalment of the successful series was directed by Jerry Jameson.
