Synopsis:: AKB0048 is a 2012 Japanese science-fiction anime television series. The series is based on the popular AKB48 music group. Set in the future, forty-eight years after music and art were forbidden, the music group AKB48 are resurrected as AKB0048. With each generation becoming the next version of the group, these understudies have to fight back to reclaim what was once taken for granted.
