- Synopsis:
Sheetal, a schoolteacher is a widow with a young son Deepu. Munni, Ravi’s daughter is Deepu’s classmate and they are tremendously fond of each other. Ravi is a prosperous businessman and is a widower. Sheetal and Ravi meet at a parents meet and slowly with they fall in love. But Sheetal refuses to express her feeling, as she fears the society’s reaction. As in the society, a widow is a taboo and with an illegitimate child is an outcast. Ravi’s younger brother Badal informs their mother about Sheetal. Hearing that Sheetal’s child is illegitimate the mother is upset. On the other hand Sheetal is called back to her late husband Raj’s home, by her repenting father-in-law who had once scorned her. Badal is arrested for raping a village girl who commits suicide. Ravi suddenly finds himself in midst of all problems. What should he do, go with his heart or accept society’s norms… - Actors:
