- Decades after strife in China forced him to flee the country and leave behind his pregnant lover Qiao Yu'e (Lisa Lu), former soldier Lui Yangsheng (Feng Ling) returns to Shanghai to find the aging woman who now has a family of her own still pining for him. Hoping Qiao Yu'e will leave her husband to be with him, Lui Yangshen presents her entire family with an unusual proposal. Quanan Wang directs this surprisingly lighthearted drama.
