Battles on the Western Front 1942-1945 (1993)

This documentary chronicles the activities of the German army at the western front between 1942, when they were at their most extensive, and 1945, when the Allied armies pushed through the Rhine. The Nazis had been on the defensive since the collapse of the U Boat offensive in 1943, and the Allied landings of D-Day, 1944, saw them beginning their retreat.
