- Bernard Bottle is having a bad day: He's been sacked, jilted by his girlfriend, and his apartment's been stripped bare. All he has left is an old Arabic lamp housing a genie who grants him an infinite number of wishes. But he'll soon wish he'd been careful what he wished for! Disaster looms when Bernard gains possession of one of the most famous paintings in the world, leading authorities to believe he stole it.
