- Based on the wartime diaries of real World War II soldiers, this is a breathtaking portrait of the heroic young men who were torn from their innocence and thrown into the brutality of life on the front line.
In the summer of 1942, as the Nazi regime extends its reach throughout Europe, an infantry regiment is crippled by the advancing enemy.
