- Synopsis:
- Black Sails is an American drama and adventure television series. The series is a prequel to Treasure Island; set twenty years before the wildly popular novel by Robert Louis Stevenson. The series follows Captain James Flint (Toby Stephens), who leads a crew during what is known as the Golden Age of Piracy. With pirates against the vast remainder of civilisation, the war is sure to be bloody. Cast includes Toby Stevens, Hannah New, and Merlin’s Tom Hopper, among many others.
