- Synopsis:
- Melissa Leo shines in a moving drama about a mother struggling to cope with her daughter's addiction. Her world revolves around her grown daughter Sylve (Marin Ireland), who, months after a car accident, still complains of being in constant pain. When earnest environmentalist Becket (Josh Hamilton) moves to town, matchmaker Faye quickly befriends him, hoping he might raise Sylvie's spirits. As Becket finds himself further interwined in their lives, he inadvertently helps Fay realize the depths of her daughter's problem, while falling for the older of the two women.
