- We hope you enjoy this selection of nine of Britain's best-loved birds specially compiled from the video series British Birdlife published by Imperial Media. The video covers birds found in a particular habitat, such as easily accessible Parks and Gardens and the more remote Mountains, Moors and Heaths. The Footage has been specially chosen to show each bird displaying its natural characteristics and behaviour, with a commentary giving additional context to the viewer, and paying particular attention to the bird's identifying features. Birds of prey pouncing on their victims are contrasted with cuter shots of chicks being fed.

Short - British Birdlife review by JD
Interesting description of 10 or so birds with some reasonable footage. Some of the filming is pretty old and faded. Most of the commentary is interesting but will be known to enthusiasts. Appropriate for birding beginners but a pretty short documentary.
