Im a fan of 80s tv , and NewYork crime dramas, but American cop dramas from this time are a bit boring and one dimensional. This is much better and has emotional depth rare for the genre at that time. Im amazed you cant buy a box set.
The acting is really quite good and the class representation of actors like Tyne Daley is very unusually spot on.
