- When eccentric wannabe scientist Flint Lockwood's (Bill Hader) latest contraption accidentally destroys the town square and rockets up into the clouds, delicious cheeseburgers start raining from the sky. But when Flint bites off more than he can chew, his miraculous machine starts to run amok, unleashing spaghetti tornadoes and giant meatballs that threaten the world! Now it's up to Flint, with the help of weather girl Sam Sparks (Anna Faris) and Steve, his talking monkey assistant, to prevent a global disaster of epic proportions.

Good enough to eat - Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs review by CP Customer
We watched this film with our Mum and Dad and my brother and I definately enjoyed it more than they did! It got funny quite quickly and just funnier as it went on. The characters were great and you didnt think of them as cartoons/animations. We laughed out loud a lot. I would recommend it to all my friends. My brother is 19!
My mum and dad didnt really think it was very funny. They laughed at the actual jokes but not at the whole thing, which we did.

A Feast Of Food and Fun - Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs review by CP Customer
I have to be honest and say that when myself and my 6 year old son sat down to watch this movie we were both wishing it was a different animated feature - a film involving a flying house with balloons and an old man - but that hadn't been released at the time!
To our absolute delight "Cloudy..." was a pleasure from first to last. It is a hilarious yet moving tale of the typical outcast but is filled with such invention ; such unpretentious joy that I cannot remember laughing so much at a film for a long , long time. The story of an inventor who creates an invention that can make food fall from the sky is a whacky as it sounds and the ideas just keep on coming. Cooked chickens which walk and talk sound like something from a David Lynch movie but they are just typical of some of the outlandish images and characters that continually surprise.
The voices are perfect with Mr T a standout as the bounding police officer whilst the finale is genuinely thrilling and isn't the usual predictable round up of character arcs.
Throroughly recommended for adults and children alike.
