Hasn't aged well. - Crimewave review by CP Customer

Spoiler Alert
17/12/2009

I remembered watching 'Crimewave' about 20 years ago and thinking it was one of the most imaginative and funny films I had seen, and I was pleased to see it had been given a re-release on DVD. The trouble is this is a film which has aged terribly, and by today's standards seems cheap, corny, badly acted and somewhere in style between a bad Jim Carrey film, a Bugs Bunny cartoon and the Coen Brothers 'The Hudsucker Proxy'. It's really no wonder why both Sam Raimi and the Coen brothers have more or less disowned the film.
