Diverse - Crossing The Bridge: The Sound of Istanbul review by JD
The presentation leaves a little to be desired. A less than photogenic, needy, attention seeking music lover compiles a documentary of a huge range of bands of Istanbul including some traditional Kurdish and Romany together with contemporary, more Western, rap. The theme is the fusion of Eastern with Western influences. It is thoughtful and interesting but really could have done with better direction.
