In the near future, the Zircon Corporation has created the ultimate prison. A vortex machine that absorbs and contains the human mind, while terminating the body- the Exile Chair. Alarmingly, the machine has developed a deadly side-effect. Its containment world, known as the Matrix, has metamorphosed into a violent electrical entity, creating a 'worm hole' back into this dimension and wiping out the population of an entire town. Simultaneously, a mysterious terrorist, known as the Shadow Man, has broken into the Matrix, carrying with him a programme to destroy the world. Special agent Steve Falcon must now traverse the void into the Matrix to track down the Shadow Man before he can unleash his devastating powers.
