Deadly Missions of WWII (2011)

Triple pack of documentaries looking at three dangerous missions undertaken during World War II. 'The Royal Swordfish Take Taranto' looks at the events of November 11th 1940 when 21 biplanes from a Royal Navy aircraft carrier launched a surprise attack on the supposedly impregnable Italian fleet anchored in the port of Taranto. 'The Desert Raiders' looks at the dangerous sabotage missions undertaken by The Desert Raiders. 'Sinking the Tirpitz' details the incredible assaults that the German ship endured over three years and its eventual collapse on November 12, 1944.
